Directions to Ivy/Emmet Street Parking Garage (free parking all day)

• From I-64: Following signs to the UVA Information Center, get off at exit 118B for the Route 29/250 Bypass. Go approximately 2 miles and take the off ramp for Route 250 East Business (Ivy Road). Turn right off the exit ramp and follow Ivy Road. Take a left at the third light to go into the Emmet/Ivy Parking Garage.
• From I-66 via US Route 29 North: Take I-66 from Northern Virginia past Manassas. Take the exit marked "Route 29 South - Gainesville." Proceed to Charlottesville, where Route 29 becomes Emmet Street. Pass University Hall basketball arena on the right. Take the first right after driving under the railroad bridge (before the next light) to enter the Emmet/Ivy Parking Garage.
• If you instead want to park closer to Newcomb Hall and pay for parking, please continue South on Emmet Street and take a left into the Central Grounds Parking Garage, where parking is $2/hour.

Directions from the Emmet/Ivy Parking Garage to Newcomb Hall

• Leave the garage to the left and walk toward Emmet Street. Follow Emmet Street South/right past the Tennis Courts and Memorial Gymnasium. Cross the street and follow the stairs up to Newcomb Hall immediately to the South of the Central Grounds Garage. Cross the brick patio, enter Newcomb Hall, and proceed up to the third floor.
