2005 IEEE Systems &
Information Engineering Design Symposium
Symposium Venue
The symposium will be held on the grounds of the University
of Virginia (link to main UVA webpage), in Newcomb Hall. Please click

Directions to Newcomb Hall & Visitor Parking Garage
From I-64, take exit 118-B (there is a University of Virginia Information
Center sign here) to Charlottesville and Culpeper. You are now on route
29 North. Exit onto 250 East Business. At the stop sign, take a right to
Charlottesville. Go through the next two lights; at the third light, take
a right onto Emmet Street. After you have turned right, you will see tennis
courts and Memorial Gymnasium on your left. Immediately after Memorial
Gymnasium on your left are the University Bookstore and Parking Garage.
Park in the parking garage. Proceed up the stairs to the 4th floor; the
entrance to the bookstore is on this level. Newcomb Hall is located across
the courtyard from the bookstore.
From Route 29 North, proceed south on 29 Business (Emmet Street) to the
intersection of 29 and Route 250 West/Ivy Road. Continue straight on Emmet
Street. Go through the light at the intersection of Emmet Street and Route
250 West/Ivy Road. After you have gone thought the light, you will see
tennis courts and Memorial Gymnasium on your left. Immediately after Memorial
Gymnasium on your left are the University Bookstore and Parking Garage.
Park in the parking garage. Proceed up the stairs to the 4th floor; the
entrance to the bookstore is on this level. Newcomb Hall is located across
the courtyard from the bookstore.
