CALL FOR PAPERS
The IEEE Systems and Information
Engineering Design Symposium (SIEDS’04) is a student-focused international
forum for applied research, development, and design in Systems and Information
Engineering. The Symposium is the leading showcase for undergraduate and
graduate design projects, such as capstone design courses, or as baccalaureate,
honors, or graduate theses. Faculty, industry, and government project advisors
are welcome coauthors. Contributed papers are solicited in diverse areas
including:
- Aerospace Systems
- Cognitive Engineering
- Data Integration and Mining
- Decision Support Systems
- Human Factors and Interfaces
- Information Systems
- Logistics and Distribution Systems
- Military Applications
- Modeling and Simulation
- Production and Manufacturing
- Risk Analysis and Mitigation
- Transportation Systems
Papers submitted should emphasize
the application of fundamental systems analysis and design concepts from
the disciplines of Systems Engineering, Applied Operations Research, Management
and Decision Sciences, Industrial Engineering, and related fields.
Symposium papers presented will
appear in a copyrighted CD-ROM proceedings, available on-site and through
IEEE Press.
