2004 IEEE Systems & Information Engineering Design Symposium
Abstract Information: Electronically submit one-page extended abstracts for contributed papers not previously published of presented. Abstracts should provide a concise description of (1) the systems-level problem being solved, (2) background literature and the state of the art (and how it is insufficient), (3) the novel approach developed in the paper, and (4) preliminary results and their implications. Abstracts must be submitted as MS Word documents. E-mail abstracts to sieds04@virginia.edu. Submission of an abstract implies that, if the abstract is accepted, a corresponding six-page conference paper will be produced and an author will attend SIEDS’04 to present the paper. Author’s Kits may be obtained electronically. March 1, 2004: Signed copyright form required for paper publication must be received [Fax to 434-982-2972, ATTN Stephen D. Patek]. Final day for early registration savings. March 26, 2004: Authors provide a manuscript copy of their papers to the Publications Chair, as per instructions in the Author’s Kit. At least one author of the paper must be registered for the conference by this date. |
