Submission Deadline Extended to February 21, 2003!!

IMPORTANT DATES

Feb. 21, 2003: Electronically submit one-page extended abstracts for contributed papers not previously published of presented. Abstracts should provide a concise description of (1) the systems-level problem being solved, (2) background literature and the state of the art (and how it is insufficient), (3) the novel approach developed in the paper, and (4) preliminary results and their implications. Abstracts must be submitted as Word, .ps (postscript), or .pdf (Adobe Acrobat) documents, and must be received by close-of-business February 21, 2003. E-mail abstracts to sieds03@sys.virginia.edu.

Submission of an abstract implies that, if the abstract is accepted, a corresponding six-page conference paper will be produced and an author will attend SIEDS’03 to present the paper. All clearance required for publication of the paper must be obtained by April 4, 2003.

March 7, 2003: Contributors will be notified whether or not their paper has been accepted. Author’s Kits may be obtained electronically from here.

April 11, 2003: Authors provide a manuscript copy of their papers to the Publications Chair, as per instructions in the Author’s Kit. Please note that both hard and soft versions of the paper must be provided.
