Founded in 1987, the Center for Risk Management of Engineering Systems develops theory, methodology, and technology
to assist in the management of risk in a variety of engineering systems.  We deploy solutions to a number of emerging problems.
Industry and government sponsors of research at the Center work closely with faculty and students
contributing their unique strengths and interests to the Center.

The university-wide Center is located in the School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Virginia.
