Dr. Turrentine's expertise is in trauma population management, critical care, death, dying and bereavement.  Her current research focuses on exploring latent and actual system errors.  She is working with us on our patient safety initiatives.

Dr. Evans conducts research in general surgery, problems in Safety. Now, she is preparing for the NRSA project in gender-dependent outcomes in nosocomial pneumonia among surgical
patients, which will be founded by NIAID (National Inst. of Allergy and Infectious Disease).
